~KOA~ emerald cabochon ring

Gorgeous 1.90 carat earth mined emerald, cabochon cut with excellent colour and clarity. 
We don’t have any sun today, but you can still see how lusterous and vibrant the stone is! 
Minor clear oil, no coloured oils or fillers. About 9.5 x 6.5 mm face size, set with brilliant cut diamonds of 2mm each and in 14k yellow gold. 
Emerald cabochons always appear to have aquatic worlds within them. My grandma had a massive emerald cabochon gifted to her by the Hyderabadi royals back in the mid 1900’s, and I recall being most fascinated by it as a child! I believe the ring was buried with her as per her wishes, perhaps there was more to the story behind it than I ever was told. 
Obviously this is much smaller but, same feels!
