The last of my four ouroboros rings, this one holds a very high quality earth mined bright green oval faceted emerald, 9 x 7 mm face size and about 1.5 carats. 
Emerald may hold minor clear oil but no coloured oil or resin fillers etc. 
The ring is created in 9k solid gold, about 8.5 grams of it. In a ring size 6.75 
The prongs will set as my signature sharp talon claws. 
features two gorgeously detailed serpents, their tails in each others mouths, wrapped around a very high quality vivid green earth mined emerald. 
I don’t think I need to get into the significance of the ouroboros, most of you would be aware. 
My fascination with the symbol began when I watched the Neverending story as a child, and then of course over time I ended up deep diving into the rich world of cultural history and mythology. Where, unsurprisingly, snakes and stories around them abound plenty; my own family has a long and magical relationship with the great king cobra. 
As I had mentioned, I was only going to make four of these, each holding a different shaped emerald, and this is the last of the four.
