~NIGHT FIRE~ antique sapphire x old mine cut diamond ring

antique old mine cut diamond and sapphire cabochon ring. Originally a gents ring this in the styling and size at approximately a 9.75.
Although this ring is meant to be 9k, it XRF tests at 7k. I would place this piece at about the early 1800’s as that’s the time this belcher / buttercup style of prongs was popular. 
The central sapphires extremely clear but does have a small dint, not noticeable at all unless you’re looking for it. 
Just a really handsome ring.
This is your reminder that all old pieces are sold on an ‘AS FOUND’ basis. They must be worn with more care than you would something new. Diamonds in this ring are old mine cut and are presently secure, however if you’re thinking of rigorous long term wear it’s a good idea to have the prongs checked / fortified if need be.
