A detailed description of the process
My pieces are made at my workshop in Rajasthan, India. A large part of the setting work is carried out in Canberra.

My process with regards to custom pieces is simple and outlined in detail here;

I first spend time getting an in depth idea of what you are after. I work backwards from your budget, without a solid figure to work with there are far too many variables.

I charge 330$ AUD per gram of 14k gold (white, yellow or rose), inclusive of 10% GST and setting.
All gemstones are priced differently, depending on cut, carat and clarity.

Once we are clear on the vision, the gemstones and the budget, I request 100% payment towards the estimation. There may be a slight addition or subtraction to this based on the final gold weight- however this is discussed prior to commencement.

I then reach out to my vendors and hunt down the perfect gemstone options, which you finalise. We make a 3D drawing before making the piece, and so changes in the design can be made up until this point. One 3D drawing is included in the price, however multiple design changes will incur additional costs.

Please note, you are charged gold weight, based on the actual casting weight.
So if the CAD (computer drawing) shows 3 grams of gold; you are charged for 3 grams of gold;
this is what I pay the casting forge.
However after this, there will be a 5%-15% gram LOSS of gold depending on how heavy the piece is; when claws are cut and shaped in setting, bezels are filed down, the ring is polished or texturised etc.

Once the piece is ready, I will send you final images and videos.

After the piece arrives with me, I take additional photos and videos and ship it to you.
Shipping details are in my T&C's

With sourcing loose gemstones, I require a 50% NON REFUNDABLE deposit to begin looking.
It’s important for me to mention that any additional payment for the finished piece is expected within 5 business days of completion. If there is a delay without prior discussion there will be a 10% fee on the invoice. If the invoice is not paid within 14 days, and there has been no communication, I reserve the right to list the piece up for sale to recover my costs.
