~ DREAMTIME ~ super antique opal ring

Super antique, large Australian jelly opal ring. Listing this morning in celebration of getting some SUNLIGHT! 
This ring feels ancient. the opal is slightly worn, but warm and full of movement…when you look into it you can’t help but think of the Aboriginal term for the time during creation when everything everyone and everywhere ebbed and flowed and melted amorphously… Dreamtime
It’s just so very, very cool.
Ring size is about an 8.5 although it might fit bigger as the shank is a bit bent. 
The opal IS worn with age, it has some age related crazing and a couple of chips on the side. The gold is hallmarked twice over and is a beautiful, warm rose. Price reflects age. 
This is NOT the ring for you if you’re wanting something new and perfect, but it sure is the ring for you if you want to feel like you’re wearing a slice of time. 
I don’t say this about a lot of pieces. In fact perhaps I never have said this before, but there’s some inexplicable energy in this piece.
